Don't "cling " these.
I love microfiber waffle towels and have several waffle towels that I use for car detailing, but the waffle pattern on this towel is different than others I have. The seams on this towel are designed to be easily snagged and the result is lots of plucked stitches which will only get worse when the towel is washed. If you have to buy this towel, only use it in the kitchen for countertops. This towel is not suitable for car care. The attached photo is a closeup of a driftwood. The towel has 15-20 hooks on one side of the towel and I've only used the towel 3 times.
