Beautifully designed cutlery that is functional, comfortable and extremely sharp. The box it comes in is so pretty you can put something nicely designed in it with a scabbard and a metal Dalstrong needle. So if you're gifting it, it's perfect. I have already bought the twin pros which are made in Germany and although I love them they just looked like two classics…. They look like every other knife in every kitchen across America and I wanted something more modern and different and it definitely fitted. The quality is about the same but they cost half the price with a lifetime guarantee. They are 20-30% sharper, more comfortable and lighter. Advantages: modern design. It really is like a stealth fighter landing on your table. One of the assumptions is certainly a subject of debate. Extremely sharp out of the box. Well balanced. Lightweight but not "cheap". Extremely comfortable to hold, this is actually the most comfortable kitchen knife I've ever held in my hand. Although I'm not a professional chef, I've been collecting knives for a long time and these knives are beautiful, functional and extremely handy. All handles are the same size whether you have a pair of knives or your 10 1/2" sushi knife can hold them comfortably. I'm a tall 6ft 6in man with big hands and what I hate about other knife sets is, that the smaller knives have little tiny handles to grip. It would be nice if I could raise my tiny hands up to use them, but I can't so they're completely useless to me. These knobs are the same across the board Size which is great Lifetime warranty Cons: Made in China I know they have gotten a lot better lately but usually their products break much sooner than American, German or Japanese products... Time will tell show.But after reading all the reviews it seems like they have great customer service.The black finish looks amazing but I am afraid it will get scratched or worn over time.I had in other black coated blades in the past and after a few months they start looking worn and scratched. As I just ordered them and it's November I have time to return them before February 1st 2022 so I'll try them for 3 months and then report back. I was going to get a set of 5 but they're sold out everywhere so I bought this universal stainless steel knife block instead and then stuck a pin in it and it worked out pretty well. Bottom line: These knives are sharp, literally and figuratively, so go ahead and buy them, you won't regret it. And in the end, what have you got to lose? It's Revain, so you can send them back for free... and now you have until February 1st next year to return them.
