Kreg screws are great

These screws are for 3/4" thick plywood or other "soft" materials. Beautiful Kreg Jig design with pocket screw. The square drive does not slip out easily and the wash head fits perfect in your pocket These screws are self tapping and relatively easy to screw in. Remember to press the two pieces together before using the screws and you will have a nice solid connection.
