A solution to fix burning torch heads that once work.

This item is a large flaming torch head. I recently had to join some copper tubing together. When I reached for my old torch, it didn't work. I don't understand why it always worked before. I put it aside and bought a new one at the store. FYI I don't want to throw away the tools because if I do that in a week or so I'll figure out how to fix it. So I'm in no hurry. Like other reviewers, I encountered the issue of the new flame heads working the first time I used them but never again. The first one worked once, but not anymore. I thought it was defective and bought a different brand. Same problem again. I started reading about these heads on the internet, how they work. One diagnosis was that the inlet valve at the bottom of the burner (the part that goes into the gas tank) is clogged. So I pressed the valve with a paperclip to clean it. Then the burner head started to work, but worked once, like the first purchase. It appeared that the intake valve was not just clogged, it was stuck. Inlet valve with wire clamps. The two new burner heads now work perfectly at all times. I also used a candle flame to burn off the carbon on the old burner head's inlet valve. I then dripped "Nylog Blue - Gasket and Thread Sealant" into the intake valve to prevent the valve from "sticking" in the future. Now my favorite old burner head works like new again. All in all, if you are facing such problems with flaming torch head, you can try this solution to make it work. I hope this is helpful to people. Good luck!😄
