It's hot - don't try to light a cigar with it.

If you connect it to a Mapp gas bottle and light a flame, it gets hot and melts the glass. He's supposed to do that, isn't he? The valve seems tight and reliable, no leaks, no explosions. It didn't make me a better violinist, but I can't blame him for that. I don't even have a violin. And it's not as tasty as a hand-breaded fried chicken steak. Finally, note that this is not a useful or safe tool for lighting cigars. Don't ask me how I know that.

Not suitable for soldering!

I bought this specifically for soldering purposes. It is impossible. It just doesn't heat enough. I was trying to braze a crack in the exhaust pipe of a small engine using 3/32 flux coated bronze solder with a melting point of 870C. This burner is rated for up to 1350°C. Regardless of whether the part to be welded cannot be heated. when soldering, this torch could not easily melt the soldering rod - even if the soldering rod was directly exposed to the flame. The product's marketing…

A solution to fix burning torch heads that once work.

This item is a large flaming torch head. I recently had to join some copper tubing together. When I reached for my old torch, it didn't work. I don't understand why it always worked before. I put it aside and bought a new one at the store. FYI I don't want to throw away the tools because if I do that in a week or so I'll figure out how to fix it. So I'm in no hurry. Like other reviewers, I encountered the issue of the new flame heads working the first time I used them but never again. The first

Took only two minutes and would not light the fire

I requested a full refund but received a request from Blurfire to send a picture of the damaged item. How the heck do I send them a photo of what is damaged when the products look brand new and have no scratches on them but the gas can was probably empty or the flashlight that came with it can't start the fire. Ever since I started my project I have had to rush to Home Depot to purchase another replacement gas welding torch, a nearly identical product. Bluefire would like to replace this item…

Flashlight that works!

I began to worry that you would no longer be able to buy a working torch. I bought a flashlight from another well-known brand at a large retail store. I was surprised that the automatic ignition didn't work and the burner didn't ignite manually. It's been years since I've had to use them, but I've never had a problem with them in the past. Then I started looking more closely at the reviews and realized that the brand was really going downhill. The torch is such a simple thing that I've always…

Almost impossible to set up to light and keep burning

Workmanship and assembly appear excellent (hence the two stars) but 'extremely' difficult to light and keep burning as the flow rate may not be properly adjusted. It will only light up when the gas valve is set to just open at a very specific setting, or it will just always go off. I've tried it with both new and partially used Bernzomatic MAP Pro and propane fuel tanks. Also, a high quality valve was placed between the tank and burner head to adjust it, but the results are the same. If you can
