Review on UTENEW Plastic Crochet Knitting Crochetting by Kristen Simpson

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Bent and Brittle: <5mm PROHIBITED

I don't leave bad reviews. I give 2 stars because I used maybe 3-4 hooks. This could be a good inexpensive beginner/tester kit for those using thick yarns. But don't expect them to last more than 6 months anyway. It has to be something someone 3D printed and thinner ones would snap like little twigs if actually used for yarn, especially in a tight pattern or if they get caught. These <5mm were very flexible and weak! Hooks from 5mm might have worked, but I just didn't think they wouldn't break at all. I have plastic hooks - Clover and Boye - and they are solid and strong. No bend. Of course they are all larger and all the hooks I have seen are less than 6mm metal. I should have known it would be them. With Hooks you get what you pay for. For real. Remember.
