I won't lie I love the mug design. I love that it has a lens cap to cover it up and a drinking cap. I like the straw that comes with it. But that's where the love ends (and that's the only reason this review doesn't have a 1 star). First, the capacity is AWAY from 13.5 ounces. I doubt it's that big even to the top. A really usable container is maybe 9 ounces (confirmed that 8 ounces of water was added and it was almost to the threads). Second, it has double walls, but it can't keep things hot. Within an hour it's only warm at best. I had half price mugs, they keep the temperature of the liquid longer. The lens cap appears to be putting pressure on the cup, causing liquid to rush through the threads and literally spill out as if there was a pinpoint leak in the cup. The beverage lid slider does not sit flush with the lid, leaving a gap that can contribute to excessive heat loss. This also means that this mug will spill easily if knocked over. Not good at all. I said I like the design of the mug but you can tell it's very cheap as you can see the stitching on the outside of the plastic. Overall, this mug is frankly rubbish and (at the time of this review) certainly not worth the $18.95 it costs. I don't know where all the positive reviews are coming from because if you take 30 seconds to actually look my issues seem to be pretty constant. Too bad, because this is really a unique mug.
