You can install it by laying the flat panel face down until you hang the TV and soundbar brackets.
Very annoying because the adjustment has to be done by tightening the screws, which can only be tightened up to the stop. The flat-screen-down installation is fine as long as you're not hanging the TV and the soundbar's two brackets move, as there's no way to tighten them enough so there's no movement. The soundbar hangs lower than you installed it. Looks awful as with a huge gap between the bottom of your TV and the top of the soundbar to hang on, like almost 2 inches, nasty. Spend more and get one that works as described or expected.
