I wish I had a dime for every pizza cutter I've bought in the last twenty years. I wouldn't be rich, but I would have a dollar to ease the pain of throwing away things that worked well and then needed replacing. Slicing a pizza shouldn't be that difficult, but most of them were more convenient for slicing raw dough than cooked crust. I even bought knives that were supposed to be dangerously sharp. nope Then I saw this cute gadget and decided to try it. It slices through thick and thin crusts with ease, and just as easily navigates thick layers of cheese and anything else on pizza. They're ridiculously easy to take apart and clean, and just as easy to put back together. I love that it comes with its own little stand and can stay on the countertop rather than reaching into a drawer to clip unwary fingers or get blunted by too many other utensils. This is comfortable to hold and gets the job done. I just wish I had something like this before I bought the ones that didn't work at all. Better late than never! It also makes a great filling for stockings along with a gift certificate for a good pizzeria.
