My truck is 18 years old. I needed to replace a side mirror and didn't want to pay a lot. I received this and it looked just like my original mirror. SO EASY TO INSTALL: Remove the triangular piece of plastic in your car, pry out the foam insulation, disconnect the electrical wire (if you have a power mirror), and unscrew the three 1/4" nuts. Outside, immediately remove the old mirror. Now remove the protective plastic from the threads of the new mirror, thread the wire through the center hole, then line up the three pins and push them through the holes. Screw back the nuts or use the ones provided. Tighten and secure the power cord, replace the foam and reinstall the plastic triangle.
