Best Buy Under $50

I bought this to match an existing invisible fence in a house we recently bought. We knew the fence was over 10 years old, but we had no idea where the boundaries were. I didn't have high expectations but figured it was less than $50 so it was worth a try. Having moved less than 2 months ago I still haven't unpacked many of my garage boxes. I'm happy to say it took me longer to find the tools I needed than it did to find the fence AND the first break. I knew where the wires went into the house…

THIS REVIEW SHOULD HELP! Search IRRIGATION VALVE

Okay we don't usually write reviews but people need help with this product! This is my experience in finding a faulty irrigation valve! First of all >>> IT WILL NOT RECOGNIZE your valve! It can ONLY trace the cable and you have to guess, check, pray where the valve boxes are! If you have a multi-core cable, it cannot isolate individual cores and traces the entire cable. (By the way, the cable tracks pretty well!) NO INSTRUCTIONS IN THE BOX. It took me a long time to learn how to listen

Works great for finding a sprinkler control valve

I don't usually write product reviews; but this time I have to write this (1) to help others who have a similar problem; and (2) this product deserves a good rating. I have a 20 year old house and one of the sprinkler control valves was broken (water keeps leaking from the sprinkler heads).
