I hated buying these simply because I hate spending money on something that requires replacement parts so I usually use a feather duster or rag which I do continue to use can use. But after seeing a really good deal on them I decided to give them a try and was really surprised at how well they work, so much better than my rag or rag so now I understand why people are buying them. Instead of the usual dust of dusting and the dust flying all over the place, the dust actually sticks and really justifies the purchase. They flatten and you fluff them into dust. Dust sticks as advertised, and even when he was dusting a super dusty ceiling fan, he didn't spread the dust all over his body, it stuck to the rag. I also found it good for wiping cat hair off the couch. His hair was stuck to him, as were other small particles on the couch. The only downside is that the cover slipped off the handle twice when I was dusting, luckily not while working on the ceiling fan, but while cleaning. a little harder over the surface and the lid slipped off. Just put it back on but I wish they could make it stay a little tighter. I will still buy these now even though I hate things that I have to refill. They just work a lot better and cleaner than rags or feather dusters.
