Milling cutter with 1/2 " shank

The description does not indicate whether the cutter is 1/4" shank or 1/2" shank, but the attached picture shows the smaller 1/4" shank. When I received it , I found the bit has a 1/2" shank, so I'm sending it back. I have no doubt that the bit is of high quality, although it did not fit me.
