Works well, solid build, small form factor
This is the same linear voltage regulator used on the NodeMCU board to power the ESP8266 with 3.3V from Vin. I use this small board to power electronics that need to communicate with the ESP8266 at 3.3V when placed in another package far apart or when current requirements are too high. The PCB design is solid and the form factor is quite small. The built-in LED gives good feedback so you know when the device is on, but you can remove it if the battery is dead and you want to save power.
