Installation was as easy as other light strips, just peel off the backing and press it in place. I don't think it's bright enough to be used in an under cabinet installation though. I installed another brand a month earlier and it wasn't bright enough either. I installed the govee last week along side the other one, intending to pull the other one out. The govee wasn't particularly brighter and even with them both on together it's STILL not bright enough. I have a 12" push button florescent light there as well that I was intending to replace with the strip lights which is what I'm comparing them both to and it's brighter than they are combined in that one spot. It's frustrating.The one part that REALLY shines with the govee is the ease of simply changing the wifi from the app. I had a new 1 gig modem installed from my ISP yesterday and the installer said the company frowns on changing the wifi address and password on the modem. I've used my ten digit phone number forever as my wifi password because it's easy to remember and used a specific term as my wifi address so I easily recognize it when logging in or having friends and family log in.I had to go around the house and change ten different smart devices from my 2 Alexa's and 8 TpLink Kasa smart bulbs and plugs. I like Kasa smart stuff but what a pain! I had to reset each device to the new modem individually. They really need to allow you to simply change the wifi ID and password from within the app, like the govee, instead of changing each device.Two thumbs up for that govee! 👍👍It just needs to be brighter. 🔅≠🔆
