Excellent choice for wired charging cable connection
After a phone change, a fast charger was needed to replace the previous 0.5A car charger that worked well for old HTC and Galaxy S4/S5. I chose this one based on the reviews. I have a hardwired connection to a 12V switching power supply. Installation was easy, basically opening up the dashboard and replacing this with the previous one. Has lasted a few 3+ hour rides so far and it has been reliable. I use both connectors with original cables and phones (driver/passenger) charge quickly. Works as expected. Glad it was the right choice.
