Used this license plate holder on a boat trailer.
This license plate holder was used on a boat trailer. The original panel was constantly being warped by the water pressure as the trailer pulled off the ramp. This spring-loaded mount solves this problem by allowing the platter to swing in one direction. The spacing between the bracket mounting holes is NOT the same as the spacing between the license plate (the screw spacing is slightly less), but this can be remedied by drilling another hole in the surface you are mounting it on.
