I used it every day to play ball in the park with my squirrel obsessed dog. Instead of getting musty and uncomfortable in the wet grass, it wipes down every day to self-clean. It's easy to grab onto or step on when your dog runs away. The 30-foot leash didn't bother her because it never snagged anything or slowed her down (which a 30-pound dog is). But after a few months, the button on the spring mechanism just disappeared (see photo). It was attached to the top of her harness and wasn't pulled or anything - I think the rolling as the leash rolled as it was pulled across the floor just loosened the metal. If they replaced the binding with a smooth karabiner so there is no stress if the line tips over while being pulled, that would be the perfect line. Whatever it was, I had a pretty useless piece of iron and some good memories. Now I'm back on the hunt for the perfect long cord.
