Review on Khalee Hand Made Embroidery Beginners Including by Wendy Rodriguez

Very beautiful! Funny crafts for a creative gift

I ordered the "Girl, you are the boss” scheme to make it for a friend and I really liked the result. Personally, I have good sewing experience, but I think someone who is a beginner can handle it if you take the time to learn stitches. The nice thing is that while it's so decorative, there are actually only 3-4 different stitches, so you'll get plenty of practice with them! The hoop I have is plastic not wood so keep in mind it might not be exactly like the picture. I think the tire still looks good, although personally I am. If I cared enough about them I would probably just buy the wooden one to replace and then continue using the plastic for my next one. It includes instructions on how to make different stitches as well as a chart of which stitch to use. on each part of the pattern. The paper chart explaining the stitches was in English and Chinese. The instructions for making each type of stitch are in English and include pictures, but if you really don't understand these are standard embroidery stitches that are easy to find online. I had a lot of yarn (and actually quite a bit left over - although I took 1 color from another set to mix up the colors of the flowers a bit!). The main thing I'd like to point out is that their string splitting instructions might be a bit harder to understand if you don't already know what they mean - I know I didn't get it at first and then, but maybe was just me (I included my own explanation below anyway in case it helps anyone else). The blue pattern came out with no problems and the soaking didn't ruin it at all! I soaked it twice to wash out all the ink and I think it looks very nice. Overall, I'm thrilled and have already recommended it! If you pick up one of these strands, you'll notice that the end can fray a little - this is actually because it's made up of SIX smaller, very thin strands that are twisted together. Before you begin, check the chart, it will say something like "Color 1, 3 threads". This means for the color 1 skein, take the skein and actually DIVIDE it all the way down so you use 3 of those 6 smaller skeins. It's usually split into 2-3, and in most cases I just split it in half (3 threads each) and used one half at a time and put the other back on the thread holder until I needed it. In hindsight it's pretty obvious to me now, but I didn't get it at all the first time, so hopefully this extra explanation helps someone else!
