First there was only one earring in the package. The second was simply in the package. Second, only one of the earrings closed properly. The clasp on one of the earrings is not open enough to fully cover the earring. I'm not sure if this issue is due to poor manufacturing or bad packaging. In any case it was a disappointment as the earrings are very beautiful and a nice weight. Order with caution.
