We have replaced the plastic mop holder with this one and are very satisfied. Our old holder didn't hold the tools hung from it as tightly. This one is way, way better in that regard; no broom or mop slips out over time. We didn't have any snags on our old one, so that was an improvement for us too. We had a lot of small tools and other items that were starting to pile up on our basement steps (where we installed these two hooks), so now we could put those hooks to good use. For less than thirty dollars you can get a steel tool/squeegee holder that won't slip and will hold the weight. Would definitely use more if needed.
