It's more than a little messy
So I bought this to help me apply boiled linseed oil to an old spinning wheel I'm repairing. The fibers got in everywhere and made cleaning difficult. Once the oil dries I have to redo the project again to remove excess fibers. If you use this I strongly recommend gloves. This may work better for you, but it didn't work for my project.
