Review on Fumoto Original F106S Engine Oil Drain Valve with LC-10 Lever Clip - FS-Series, 1 Pack by Daniel Casper

Update 11/2020: Changed the oil and it was easy! No more confusion and guesswork with the oil drain plug and the amount of threads left before it pops out! Clean, easy to use. I used a hose connector and that made it even easier. The plastic latch that prevents the latch from slipping has not broken for 6 months (even when driving on snow). Things haven't flown yet and so far so good. As always, I'll update if anything changes. On my only use so far, I would definitely recommend this for a DYI oil change. I will have no problem buying this for all my cars in the future (already did this for my 2019 WRX - it uses F108). Original Review 5/2020: Easy installation, just add the included washer and tighten, then tighten slightly (1/4 turn) with a 17mm screw. Did. Oil no longer splashes when the oil drain plug is removed. A dream for anyone who changes their own oil. There are no leaks, just making sure the valve was closed. The plastic stopper is a nice touch to help with accidental opening, but I highly doubt it will accidentally open as it "clicks" when twisting to close. I'll be keeping an eye on my eyes to see if there are any problems later in the future. But so far it's worth the money. I bought a hose and fitting for this valve but as I just changed the oil and it's installed now I will be upgrading a few months later when I change the oil again to see how effective it is is. is. But it fits well, tested before installing the valve in the car. If anything changes I will update this review!
