Absolutely LOVE this item! The one I got was branded Etchr, so that was a surprise (I was upset that I missed the kickstarter for their version of the optical color system). It was pretty easy to install - the hardest part was figuring out how to put the plastic pieces together to make the phone stand and plexiglass sheet. Once I figured that out, I downloaded the app to my old iPhone, took a quick photo, just adjusted it with the in-app filters to look like a sketch, and then put the phone on the stand. The plexiglass reflects the phone's screen and if you position yourself so that your head is facing the plexiglass pane and your hand is on the other side along with the paper/drawing book, it's very easy to draw whatever you want on see the screen. Unlike other reviewers, I had no trouble getting my hand under the plexiglass - there's ample room for a sketchbook or paper underneath, as well as my hand and pencil/pen. I see a lot of reviewers baking cookies/cakes, and while there's enough room under the plexiglass for a sketchpad, hand, and pencil, I don't think there's enough room for a plate, cookies, and frosting, and probably not enough for a cake. So I would only buy this for traditional pen/pencil and paper work. I am very happy to be able to work in Procreate on my iPad and to be able to transfer the drawings I make in procreate to paper without having to deal with tracing, printing, carbon paper, LED boards etc. I am also thinking about the time I will develop muscle memory. This makes things a little easier, especially if you're sketching from photos or digital illustrations.
