Review on πŸš— Walker Exhaust Ultra EPA 16087: The Ultimate Direct Fit Catalytic Converter for Optimal Performance by Daniel Oliver

Works great: Parts

I've been having CEL (Check Engine Light) issues on my 2001 Audi A4 for a few years now (at 186,000 miles). I replaced the "cheap" stuff first. Oxygen sensors, mass airflow sensors, etc. Usually the CEL returns within a few days or a week. I finally found out that code P0420 means I need to replace the catalytic converter. I called my trusted mechanic and got a quote from him. He said it would cost about $400 plus labor. And that was for an unnamed entity that he chose at random. Well, I've read that not all catalytic converters are created equal. You need to look for the one with the largest internal volume, and that's usually the one with the best guarantee. I was out shopping for a few days and came across the Walker device. I read some good reviews on various car forums and went for it. My mechanic has no problem installing user-supplied parts, so I dropped the machine and converter and let it do its thing. When I picked it up he said the converter worked without any issues and looked really well put together compared to others he had installed. When I told him I saved $150 by buying from Revain, he started taking notes. It's been a year since it was installed and I've had zero CEL (now 198,000 miles)! I would highly recommend this device to anyone.
