Review on 🔥 BRK PRC710 Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm with Built-In 10-Year Battery - White by Karoly Reddick

This alarm worked properly (ie occasionally detected smoke while cooking and had no false alarms) for 4 months. After 4 months it started making random beeps and then beeping to indicate the product is defective and needs to be replaced. A call to First Alert customer service was an eye opener: they first tried to blame me for the problem (even though it was only a few months old) and claimed it was beeping because it was dirty, but it was spotless, and the sample was over according to their own determination indicate a product defect. This was followed by a rather lengthy and anything but civil discussion. In the end they agreed to replace him, but only after I was delayed for a long time. I will update this review when I get a new block. Given the fact that this 10 year old detector lasted less than 6 months and the attitude of the company, I would look elsewhere.
