First of all, the advantages of this TJ tire. It's well done. Black paint covers all metal. LEDs…. IDK, I haven't even finished the install yet. It's cheaper than removing the replacement part on my JK. In fact, this is the only moving set I could find for TJ. Now installation and problems. First, I do NOT like the "chrome" bezel around the brake light. I removed all the chrome from my jeep and wanted to be able to get a black bezel. Just more time to glue and paint black. You must install the tag before attaching it to your jeep. Well, I ended up with 1 hole out of 4 holes for the matching label 😢. I really mean WOW. You could cut holes in it. So before I even started installing I had to enlarge the hole in my tag AND the mounting holes... YES both holes were that far apart. Okay, I went with 2 screws. The other holes don't line up, and if 2 screws won't hold the notch, 4 won't hold either. Side. Where the wires are located on the back of the product there are no stamped cutouts to simply route the wires into the square hole where they enter. So tightening it will pinch the wires 😢, more work. Okay, now that I have it installed but not plugged in, it doesn't look good on the jeep. The item itself looks good, but the appearance of the tailgate is undesirable (this is the tailgate design, not the fault of the product). I will keep this item and design a cover for most of the tailgate in black ABS. For a deal with no other options, that's ok at best.
