I needed a parallel port for my windows computer to communicate with the Mach 3 software but that won't work, seems to be a frequency synchronization issue. Windows recognizes the card and assigns a crazy interrupt instead of the usual 03F8, and there doesn't seem to be a way to change that. Okay Mach 3 can tell what the new interrupt is and in the end I think I saw the map. But so far it doesn't detect any signals coming from the card. My guess is that the cards' operating clock speed isn't compatible with Mach 3. This is also a known issue with other parallel add-in cards.
