Review on Canon 16 35Mm 2 8L III Lens by Aashit Seth ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the level, I am satisfied with everything.

Acquired for shooting mainly landscapes and architecture. The lens copes with this task just perfectly. Detailing is at a high level, the lens demonstrates very high sharpness over the entire range of focal lengths and almost across the entire field of the frame. Separately, you can also highlight the accuracy and speed of autofocus. At the same time, at the maximum focal length of 35 mm, if desired, you can shoot half-length and full-length portraits. The bokeh is soft, with even blurry highlights in the out-of-focus area. The lens is protected from dust and moisture, all joints are sealed with rubber gaskets, and around the mount there is a rubber ring that protects the lens from the end when it is mounted on the camera. It was a little embarrassing that Canon, positioning the lens as a top lens, puts it in a soft case, although other models use a hard or semi-hard case (for example, Canon EF 70-200 / 2.8L USM). In general, the purchase is very satisfied. Perfect addition to my kit.

Pros below: The optics has become better in contrast to the 16_35 II, the new lens is sharper by 16mm, the color reproduction has been corrected, the skin has ceased to give off earthy shades. Cons below: The price is exaggerated considering that the case is not metal

Its pros: Stunning sharpness starting at 2.8 on all FRs from center to edges on a full frame 5DM4 Different cons: Very expensive, but probably worth the money

So far I just bought it, compared it with 24-70 2.8 L: at 24 and 35 it shoots much more clearly
