Review on ClonerAlliance Flint 4KP Plus: 4K@60fps Passthrough & 1080p@60fps Video Capture for Game Consoles & DSLR by Sal Muniz

I'm having trouble running Flint 4KP Plus on my Windows 10 PC. The included desktop application, HDML-Cloner Pro Helper, only gave a generic error message. I eventually found that my usual security lockdown, which involved disabling all visible items, involved disabling camera access in the privacy settings area. Obviously, the HDML-Cloner Pro Helper app should throw a specific error message in this case, but the latest version of it running the latest Windows 10 update didn't. Along the way, I contacted ClonerAlliance customer support. They were very responsive and provided suggestions on how to solve the problem. When I informed them about allowing privacy settings, they indicated that the development team would examine the HDML-Cloner Pro Helper application to ensure the error message is correct. After the camera access issue was resolved, I tried Flint 4KP Plus with the OBS Studio app and it worked like a champ. However, the HDML Cloner Pro Helper. With the ability to preview video images and capture GIFs and still images, non-playable capture files are only 259 bytes long. ClonerAlliance support made several suggestions to set up the PC sound/audio device, which unfortunately didn't solve the problem, and finally recommended using OBS Studio to record the video. Only the hardware and customer support would get 5 stars, not so much the included desktop. App for windows 10.
