Review on Sealproof Weatherproof Receptacle Protector Configurations by Curtis Donjuan

It's ok, worried about the cheap reference material

The item arrived on time with no instructions, which may be inconvenient for some people if they don't have any of them installed. This is a socket cover with slots through which you can thread an extension cord or power cord. However, the lid is made of such cheap plastic, if you're too proud of the protrusions, the lid will definitely crack. Instead, I used a dremel drill bit and a small standard to smooth out the area. The tabs themselves are definitely not easy to remove, regardless of the cost of materials. There is a hole you could drill for a lock. It comes with two separate pairs of screws. Like the rear packing material on the fork, it is weatherproof. The latch for the lid is very weak, if this lid is opened and closed too many times I break the latch and no longer hold it securely. We're going to put a small lock in the hole once we drill it open, simply because I know that sooner or later this latch is going to break. For the price you can't go wrong, a little handwork can get the job done, but the plastic material of the lid worries me about the impact and how it will hold up when it's not direct weather.

Pros
  • Sockets and accessories
Cons
  • The cord is shorter than others
