Used in a 12V dual battery backup system for a 1000W inverter. A voltage drop of more than half a volt was measured between the battery terminals and the inverter, triggering an undervoltage alarm when powering a 350W load. Without the switch, the system had no problem with the same load. I measured with different cables to rule out cables. I have 6 gauge wire (never gets close to a 1000w load so I don't need more) with a total circuit length of about four feet, which is enough for the 28 amps the circuit was exposed to. Now it ends up in the trash can.
