Why can't they do it with big posts?!

Honestly I should have thought about it and read the fine print before ordering, but that seems to be the general design of all these types of switch boxes. Quarter inch post!? Give me a break, this is ridiculous. I'm not going to run 150 amps through a quarter inch pin and talk about the bottleneck choking your voltage. Why would I run $7 a foot zero gauge wire into a crappy 1/2 inch plastic box before plugging it into my $1,000 amp?

Pros
  • spare parts
Cons
  • boring packaging

1. CAM AND YOUR WORK SIMPLY EXCELLENT

I finally installed this circuit breaker along with the power distribution box to fit some LED lights I already have on my truck and 2 sets of new lights, it was my first Times. Creating the distribution block so it took longer than usual (just wanted to make sure everything was ok) so I finished last night and yes it's working great so far, played around with it a bit last night, double checked and gone. Trails and then checked everything after we were done and so good

Pros
  • automotive
Cons
  • unreliable

Causes a half volt drop in the circuit.

Used in a 12V dual battery backup system for a 1000W inverter. A voltage drop of more than half a volt was measured between the battery terminals and the inverter, triggering an undervoltage alarm when powering a 350W load. Without the switch, the system had no problem with the same load. I measured with different cables to rule out cables. I have 6 gauge wire (never gets close to a 1000w load so I don't need more) with a total circuit length of about four feet, which is enough for the 28 amps…

Pros
  • Switch and Relay
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others
