I have used these buckets to mount tires on my bikes. They work very well and for the money they are good value for money. They are chrome plated and will also help scratch the rim if you hold them with soap. Although I use rim protectors, there are moments of frustration when I'm just grabbing a few final bites to get the job done. At the moment, after 4 tires, there are no signs of wear on the spinners themselves. The set comes with a nice lid and is good for storing spoons. The rest of the set was just a bonus to add to my already amassed inventory of items.
