I installed an awning on my truck a while ago and I really like it. However, the bedspread makes the bed very dark even in daylight. Also early in the morning to work etc. I was looking for a lighting solution. I stumbled across these lights and for the price I wanted to try them. Installation was easy and they are bright! I added a contact switch to turn them on/off when I open/close the tailgate. The hand switch that the lights came with is still plugged in, so I can unplug the pin switch if I need to pull something down with the tailgate. The day after installation I went snowboarding in the mountains and was glad that Clay held up well in the cold. The only minor complaint was that I still had to splice a few wires to get to the power supply. I am very satisfied with the product and would definitely recommend it.
