Get "Updated " Product

Printer: Prusa i3 mk2.5S. Image: A warm fluorescent bulb shining through the lithophane printed on the resulting product. Overall: Great product, just wish it had been updated without my knowledge/consent. I ordered this product for use in lithophane. I wanted a "true" white (some of the white threads have a yellow tint) that would reproduce fine detail with minimal difficulty. Strength doesn't really matter. This filament looks fantastic in lithophane with crisp detail and no yellow in white (in my opinion). Has a pearly visual texture. However, there are other problems that require a brief description. I ordered regular PLA. I received a PLA notification on the business day that the item I ordered was out of stock and an updated version was sent. The item is obviously sold out. I would wait well for a new sock. You see the working version is a modified PLA that looks more like ABS with hopes that it will be stronger. That was bad news for me. I bought PLA because I wanted PLA, not ABS-like PLA. ABS is more brittle and has serious bed warpage problems, which is problematic for prints with a long, thin base. I wasn't concerned about durability for my intended use, so this upgrade just gave me more trouble and limited my use of the product. I bought PLA to avoid my experience with ABS. As a result, this filament suffers from kinking, worse than other PLAs I've looked at, although not as severe as ABS. It will also be clogged with supply lines on a regular basis. While clogging is an issue with my printer model, it's worse than almost any other filament I've dealt with, even PETG.
