I absolutely hate having to tip my bottle to drink from it. Especially if it is a liter jug, large, heavy and uncomfortable. These straws work great and help me drink more water. I will add that there are no clear instructions on how to assemble and put it in the bottle so some people might say it didn't work for them. I saw a video on a similar listing so I was aware of that. For small bottles like 40 oz. Hydroflask it is necessary to shorten the central rigid plastic part of the straw and then rejoin the ends.
