Review on Creekeley Coffee Mug Warmer Temperature by Shane Miller

I'm picky. I love my coffee HOT. But most cup warmers, including this one, don't keep it as hot as it comes out of the coffee maker. I have another 3 heat warmer like this one and it keeps the coffee pretty hot. . So I figured this one might do an equally good job. But that's not the case. Comes close, but no cigar. Pros: - Turns on and off under the weight of the mug, so you don't have to turn it on and off manually. - There is an automatic shutdown (but only after a long 4 hours). - You can choose from 3 heating levels. - It looks good and comes in a very nice packaging. Cons: - Even at the 167 degree (F) setting, hot coffee cools 15-20 degrees to an average of 122 degrees. In fact, warming up something cool is out of the question. - I'm not sure where the heat readings are taken, but they don't represent the temperature of the contents of the cup. Incidentally, very few coffee cups have the completely flat bottom that they recommend. Four hours is too long to wait for it to turn itself off. I would like an option for a shorter time for more security. All in all, it's a decent way to keep coffee, tea, or other hot beverages at a drinkable temperature. But that won't satisfy people like me who like hot drinks. I can't give it 5 stars but since it will probably work for most people I'll give it 4 stars.
