I was looking for a "precise" macro focus rod and this was the second product I tried. It looked great and was well rated at the time my purchases were very positive so I decided to try it Unfortunately after the first 10 minutes of testing I found it totally useless for precise movements the grip which by the way is too tight when I tried to take a series of shots with a 5 format Focus Stack: 1 This spread changes the composition to ridiculous, about 1/4 of the entire frame It is fitted with a rail Mounts rigidly to a thick heavy table, not a tripod that may move.Returned for a refund
