I used some SD card test programs. I used a high quality Lexar USB 3.0 reader. The performance was terrible. A test that checked if all blocks could read and write took over 3 minutes. I compared the $7 Lexar Micro SD I bought from Office Depot and it did the job in 4 seconds. When transferring files, they started out at a good speed, but then dropped very low to the last 80%. I was looking for cards for a 3D printer so speed wasn't that important. But the performance was really bad. I ended up buying 3 32GB microSDs (Lexar) for $7 each, it was the cheapest OD on sale. Buyers be careful.
