2016 Toyota 4Runner: LOVE HOW LOUD!

I installed this on my 2016 Toyota 4Runner about a week ago and I love them! Installation turned out to be a bit more difficult than I expected, but overall not too difficult. I ended up installing the receiver and compressor on an old hard plastic cutting board in the back of the cargo area, which was perfect because not only did you not have to drill holes inside, but you also made the system modular and removable with just a wrench to remove the air line . The kit included about 5-6 feet of air line, which wasn't enough to get from the trunk to the grille where I installed the pipes, but luckily I was only able to get 20 feet on a trip to NAPA for $20. . I also bought three 90 degree connectors so the duct points down instead of straight, the gauge faces out for easier reading, and I also installed one on the compressor inlet to reduce the overall size of the system. The air tank has a pressure sensor ground to stop the compressor when the tank is full, but I still chose to install a kill switch between the battery and the compressor to have full control over when the system can be charged . The compressor is quite noisy, but it only takes about 5-7 minutes to charge the tank. So turning on the radio while it's running, or simply turning it on while you're refueling, will solve the noise problem inside. It's not so annoying that other people outside the car notice it's working. The horns are LOUD! The only thing that bothers me is that the sound of the horns is a bit higher pitched than I wanted, but it's worth putting up to get others' attention and it certainly will! I suggest you include about $50 in the total cost for switches, wiring, extra catenary, and any fittings you might want to install on the system. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because I had to purchase these items in order to install them properly. I don't think there is enough air line in the kit to fit anywhere other than maybe stowing the entire system, pipes and all, in the bed of a truck. worth your money! Update: I attached an air hose to it so I can now inflate my tires after riding the track 😁
