When I first took it out of the box I wanted to put it back in the box and send it back straight away. It seemed so cheaply made I couldn't believe I paid $20 for it...the last picture shows how cheap the base looks...you can cover the base. I just used the packaging that came in the box for a quick sample photo. I like the fact that you use batteries and you can put it anywhere. I will let you know how long the batteries can support this. It comes with a cable but without the actual block that fits into the USB socket. It doesn't hold a USB charge, but you can plug it into the wall if you like. It's very plastic and very bright. Not sure how good a night light would be because it's really bright lol. Overall, I recommend this product and I really like it.
