Note: This review is after less than 30 minutes of having them on my feet, so take it with a grain of salt (though I'll update if things change in minute 31 or beyond).I found the comments about sizing in other reviews to be a little all over the place, so I ordered a couple of pairs. In Euro sizing, I'm generally safe getting a 44.5-45 and I generally lean toward using those measurements since I find them to be a bit more consistent than what's defined as 11.5 in the US.What you see in the picture is a size 12 (45) Reef Fanning Low (my go-to brand and model) flanked by KuaiLu's 45 on the left and 46 on the right. The 46 is dead on with the Reef's 45 and fits accordingly. The 1/2"+ or so missing from the KuaiLu 45 was much more pronounced when I put my foot in and you can probably see from the filthy outline of toes on the Reef, the KuaiLu 45 is only just as long as my foot, so I didn't feel the same sense of coverage. So that's sizing. As for the other aspects of the things, I find them surprisingly comfortable, especially when considering the price. Good spring and grip with more arch support (or at least the sensation thereof) than I feel in my Reefs. Since I bought these as indoor WFH shoes, I'm happy to give my feet some return to curvature but I could see where others would find the arch a little intrusive, particularly if they're used to flatter flip flops. The overall look is nice and well-finished, plus they've had a fantastically nostalgic 'new flip flop smell' coming out of the bag that was just enough to evoke summer joy but disappeared easily enough so that I didn't feel like I was dragging chemical off gassing through the house.Durability, of course, remains to be seen and judged. For now, however, I plan on ordering another pair or two to wear outside or just have on hand should these give out.So why 4 stars and not 5? It's not a slight at all. For me, 3 is meeting expectations and 5 is reserved for those things that leave me gushing because of unbelievable value or utility. My 4 is for things that are better than expected or otherwise surprise me with their value and these thongs seem to fit the bill. If they're still chugging along in great condition 6-12 months from now, star number 5 may follow.
