Review on 🦖 Buy Velociraptor Comp Tire by Brandon Hayes

After a couple of long rides I'm very happy with the rear tire I bought. It's thicker than the stock tire that came with my mountain bike and the tread is really grippy. I walked through the softly packed sand material and while my front wheel sank into the ground and didn't want to go forward anymore, my rear wheel dug further and further forward. The bike sank about 2 inches in that sandy stuff (to the rim) but I was still able to move forward. That's not my achievement. I almost had a heart attack a few minutes later, but the splint helped me get through it. I am so pleased with it that as soon as I have the money to spare I will buy the front tire from the kit. Well the downsides, if you can call it that, are noise/vibration and installation. When driving on asphalt, a noticeable and slight noise from the tire can be heard, as well as slight vibrations. You'll get this with any deep-tread mountain bike tire, but keep this in mind if it's a deal breaker for any reason. Fitting the tire was difficult at first. It had so much play around the edge that I couldn't figure out how it would fit. After some thought, I was able to press the tire firmly against the rim. I had to inflate the tube almost fully and tuck both sides of the tire (from the side of the rim) in toward the rims. After inflating the sides of the tire and inflating the tubes, the tire fits perfectly. This is a great tire at a great price and I'm looking forward to buying the front tire.
