Wanted an attractive but hard wearing front door mat as I live in a rural area and even the front door is subject to mud, snow and all kinds of inclement weather. This rug was quite thick, but not so thick that the door would not snag over it when opened. Seems well done. I had Olefin floor mats and they seem to hold up well even in heavy traffic. Worn for a few months, no signs of wear. sucks good I'm deducting my rating because of the design and color. It is listed as "black" but there is very little black. It is mostly dark brown and off-white in color. The pattern is not clear which makes it look like a cheap rug. I kept it, but it's in an area where it doesn't show much.
