Colors do not match the picture. "Green" is dark green at best; not sage. Very dark. What looks like gold in the picture is actually beige. Purchased 2 2'x3'4" Gallery Berber #28 mats, one for the inside of the garage door and one for the back door. They are exactly as pictured and will look great on our hardwood floors. I have had two of these mats for 2.5 years now and am amazed at how great they are. One is by the tall front door overlooking the courtyard. I haven't had to wash it yet! Wanted an attractive but hard wearing front door mat as I live in a rural area and even the front door is subject to mud, snow and all kinds of inclement weather. Nice plush rug, very rich colors. I was surprised how comfortable it really was. Time will tell how well it holds up when people rub their feet on it. It doesn't have a tag indicating if it's machine washable but the backing is very hard so I don't think you could put it in the washing machine without damaging it. It comes rolled tight. UPDATE: I've had the carpet for 19 months now. We hold it in front of the entrance to the room that is used only occasionally. The edge of the carpet has started to peel and the carpet is worn. The color is still beautiful and goes well with our room decoration. But for a rug that's only walked on a few times a week, that's really not very good. I wouldn't buy this again.
