It's shocking that the old analogue video technology is being replaced so quickly by Dodo! MANY people, especially older people, are overwhelmed with this old technology, modern camcorders are too complicated for them. My parents are well into their 80's and NOW they won't change places. However, they still LOVE making videos during their frequent vacations and enjoy endlessly playing all their old tapes when they are home. NOW they want to record their memoirs but they can't find VHS-C tapes in ANY of the regular stores. In fact, there is nothing in New Zealand! I couldn't ship the tapes directly there either, so I had to find them myself in the States through Revain. who came trumps. My parents are happy, so I'm happy. But I wish there were more choices. They had to settle for a huge amount of 30 minute tapes instead of a much more manageable amount of 90 minute tapes. I daresay I'll have to buy a 5 year stock pretty soon. just in case they disappear COMPLETELY!
