Review on X-ZONE PET Indoor/Outdoor Dog Crate Cover - Polyester Kennel Cover for Wire Dog Crates - Windproof & Durable by Stacy Harris

We purchased a 36" X-Zone indoor/outdoor PET crate lid to fit our MidWest Life Stages single door crate (Model #1636, 36 x 24 x 27 ). First let me say this. This is a VERY WELL MADE drawer cover. The material feels solid, the zippers are solid, and the velcro straps are properly aligned and stitched well. We ordered gray except for the blue stripe which I didn't pay attention to. , the color is a nice mid gray with black zippers and a black waterproof lining. There was a slight smell of plastic but it went away after a few hours outside on the back deck. BTW, putting it in the warm sun helped it be more pliable so we could squeeze it into a box. And now the big problem! It is about 1.5 cm shorter. decreases and there are no concessions or stretches. No problem other than a strip of material around the bottom of the lid. Under no circumstances will the box door open if there is a group behind the door! Tried everything: stretching, pulling, unzipping in different places, etc. Finally, we were able to squeeze the material under the edge of the door. It rubs when closed, but since we rarely include two Vesti in a drawer, that shouldn't be a problem. I wish it was just a little, maybe an inch or so, to counteract what gets lost at the corners and edges since drawers aren't always perfectly square. For those thinking about buying an X-Zone drawer lid, this is a real treat. Just remember that the dimensions of the lid are accurate and there is no room for error! If your drawer is exactly the same size as your suitcase, it may not be big enough! Update 04/21/20: The X-ZONE dog crate cover withstands the gimmicks of our two newsletters well! The wear is very low. Still a great product. I find this interesting, however the size 36" is no longer displayed as a purchase option.
