Review on Streamline Your Race Experience with the TYR Race Belt by Mario Beaklini

I bought this strap to replace my original TYR belt because it was becoming "crunchy" and losing elasticity. It has lasted many years and many races so no complaints. However, THIS belt didn't survive even ONE use - it fell out mid-race. I took it out and found the material was too flimsy to hold the clips properly; it just slips through. Yes, I know how to properly thread the belt through the loops on the clips. It failed from the factory and as originally installed. I've tried different routing methods but nothing seems to work. Otherwise I like the belt. It's light and stretches well. It also has large buttons to properly hold racing camisole. However, this does not matter if the belt falls off during use. Luckily it was cheap so I'm just going to tape it over so it doesn't come off. TYR usually makes higher quality products so I don't know what happened here.
