Easy on and off for sport

Very comfortable for triathlon runs. Easy to turn on and off. Comfortable to the point that I no longer notice it's on me during the race. The only problem is that I have to pre-punch my racing bibs with a standard hole punch because the button tabs are larger than most racing bibs.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Zero

Worked great for first triathlon

Used this for my first triathlon and it worked great. It is easy to adjust and is a quality product. For people complaining that they don't line up with the holes on the jersey, so be it. The two buttons on the belt are used to attach the number to the belt to keep it in place. No place for gel packs if that's what you're looking for.

Pros
  • Doping 🔥
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Annoying buttons are good for swimming

There is nothing special about this belt. In fact, the number placement buttons are quite annoying and difficult to open (destroyed my nails). If the belt is not stretched too much, the number will fold because the distance between the buttons is much smaller than the average distance between the holes in the license plate that comes with it. I had to make new holes. You can probably get a similar one for a cheaper price.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Everything is fine

The belt is great for swimming

The TYR belt works great and keeps my clothes from wearing out, that's for sure. The only thing I didn't like was that the buttons didn't line up with the holes in the bib. Maybe the holes for the racing bibs aren't made for every one of them. I'm not sure. Buttons on the strap can be attached to a racing bib without making holes in the bib. It worked perfectly and had no problems. I would buy another one but I only need one.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Working speed

I bought this triathlon belt and it does exactly what it's supposed to do. It keeps my bib in place and allows for a very timely number change from back to front. I am 5ft 5in and 150lbs and this belt fits me perfectly. I bought a second one for my fiancee and she is a lot smaller than me and I was able to adjust her without any problems.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Almost never

It costs a maximum of 3 dollars.

I ordered different types of running/racing belts, only this one was returned. The band is thicker than most (but overkill for its function) and "TYR" is screen printed or painted on. , so that the moment you stretch the tape, all the lettering is torn. I can imagine that after a single wash or after wearing (stretching/pulling) a number of times, the letters no longer make full words. The elastic also felt stiff or stale, resulting in slow stretching and tapering of the back. strange. Maybe…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Reliability

Strap fell off FIRST Use

I bought this strap to replace my original TYR belt because it was becoming "crunchy" and losing elasticity. It has lasted many years and many races so no complaints. However, THIS belt didn't survive even ONE use - it fell out mid-race. I took it out and found the material was too flimsy to hold the clips properly; it just slips through. Yes, I know how to properly thread the belt through the loops on the clips. It failed from the factory and as originally installed. I've tried different…
